The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on November 22, 2024, issued the amendment to certain Indian Standards (IS).
The amendment of the following IS has been issued on November 12, 2024 namely: -
• IS 2347 : 2023 Domestic Pressure Cooker — Specification (Seventh Revision) – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
• IS 2993 (Part 1) : 2024 IEC 60252-1 : 2010 + AMD 1 : 2013 a. c. Motor Capacitors Part 1 General — Performance, Testing and Rating — Safety Requirements — Guidance for Installation and Operation (Third Revision) – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
• IS 3224 : 2021 Valve for Compressed Gas Cylinders Excluding Liquefied Petroleum Gas ( LPG ) Cylinders — Specification (Fourth Revision) – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
• IS 17803 : 2022 Potable Water Bottles ( Copper, Stainless Steel, Aluminium ) — Specification – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
The IS shall stay in force without the amendment till May 11, 2025.
