The Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) on November 20, 2024, notified regarding the revised schedule of the Graded Response Action Plan (GRAP).
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that Clause 11 of GRAP Stage-III shall be mandatory for Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddh Nagar, with implementation in other NCR districts left to the respective State Governments' discretion.
• It inserts Clause 12 under GRAP Stage-III, it states that GNCTD and NCR State Governments to stagger timings for public offices and municipal bodies in Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddh Nagar, with discretion for other NCR districts.
• It further states that Clause 5 of GRAP Stage-IV is mandatory for Delhi, Gurugram, Faridabad, Ghaziabad, and Gautam Buddh Nagar, with implementation in other NCR districts at the discretion of State Governments.
