The Commission for Air Quality Management (CAQM) on November 28, 2024, issued the notification regarding the Implementation of Actions under stage-Ill & IV of Graded Response Action Plan ln Delhi.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Construction related activities, other than those listed under clause 4(i), which are less polluting/less dust generating are permitted to be continued subject to strict compliance of C&D Waste Management Rules
• C&D activities for linear public projects such as highways, roads, flyovers, overbridges, power transmission, pipelines, tele-communication etc. which fall under the exempted category of projects, as in clause 4(iii) under GRAP stage- III, are also banned in GRAP Stage-IV.
• Activities which are permitted under Stage-III, will continue to be permitted.
