The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on November 28, 2024, issued the notification regarding the amendment to certain Indian Standards (IS).
The following IS has been amended on November 11, 2024 namely: -
• IS 548 (Part 3/Sec 4) : 2021 ISO 8420 : 2002 Methods of Sampling and Test for Oils and Fats Part 3 Advanced Instrumental Methods Section 4 Determination of content of polar compounds – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
• IS 16200 : 2015 ISO 3656 : 2011 Animal and Vegetable Fats and Oils — Determination of Ultraviolet Absorbance Expressed as Specific UV Extinction – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
• IS 17854 : 2022 Equipment for Manufacture of Fortified Rice — Specification – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
The following IS shall remain in force without the amendment till May 10, 2025.
