The Ministry of Women and Child Development (MoW&CD) on November 29, 2024, issued a notification regarding the launch of the SHe-Box portal.
The following has been stated: -
•The Ministry launched the SHe-Box portal to centralize complaints related to sexual harassment at workplaces, in line with the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace Act, 2013.
•The portal helps track complaints, and Internal Committees (ICs) and Local Committees (LCs) at state, UT, and private sector workplaces. The complaint registration feature went live on October 19, 2024, and has received 9 complaints so far. Inquiries must be completed within 90 days as per the Act.
