Labour ComplianceThe Labour Department, Govt. of Kerala on November 23, 2024, issued the Kerala Factories (Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Kerala Factories Rules, 1957.

It is stated that in sub-rule (5) of rule 7, the figures and words “5 years”, shall be substituted with the figures and words “10 years”.

This shall come into force on November 27, 2024.
