Labour Compliance The Labour Department, Govt. of Punjab on November 28, 2024, notified regarding the adjustment of minimum wage rates w.e.f. September 01, 2024.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that adjustments are based on the new Consumer Price Index (CPI) series (Base 2016=100).

• It provides Wage rates categories, including:

o Un-skilled: Rs. 10,996.04

o Semi-skilled: Rs. 11,776.04

o Skilled: Rs. 12,673.04

o Highly skilled: Rs. 13,705.04

• It further provides specific rates for staff categories and agricultural labour.
