The University Grants Commission (UGC) on December 02, 2024, issued a notification regarding the deadline for HEIs to Upload Student Credit Data to the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) Portal.
The following has been stated: -
•The NEP 2020 aims to create a flexible, multidisciplinary higher education system, supported by the Academic Bank of Credits (ABC) for storing academic credits.
•As per recent directives, all Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) must upload student credit data to the ABC portal by December 31, 2024, for the academic years 2021-2023.
•After this deadline, no further updates or uploads will be allowed. HEIs must also upload mark sheets and transcripts for non-CBCS students to enable digital certification via Digi Locker.
