The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on November 29, 2024, issued a notification regarding commencement of Clause 8 of Regulation 8 of the Deviation Settlement Mechanism (DSM) Regulations, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•The CERC has issued a notification regarding the commencement of Clause 8 of Regulation 8 of the Deviation Settlement Mechanism (DSM) Regulations, 2024 which specifies Charges for Deviation.
•Clause 8 will come into effect from 00:00 hours on December 23, 2024. Until then, Para 27(3)(a) of the Order dated February 06, 2023, in Petition No. 01/SM/2023 will remain in operation. This supersedes the previous notification published on November 05, 2024.
