EHS Compliance The Ministry of Defence (MoD) on December 02, 2024, notified Secunderabad Cantonment Board Solid Waste Management Bye-laws, 2024.

The following has been stated: -

•Rule 3 lays down definitions of the terms like sanitary worker and palletisation.

•Rule 4 specifies Segregation and storage of solid waste at source.

•Rule 5 specifies the Collection of solid waste.

•These bye-laws shall be applicable within the territorial limits of the Secunderabad Cantonment.

They shall come into force on December 04, 2024.
