The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) on December 03, 2024, issued the amendment to certain Indian Standards (IS)
The amendments of the following IS has been established on November 18, 2024 namely: -
• IS 550 (Part 2) : 2021 Safes Part 2 Tests for Burglary Resistance (Sixth Revision) – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
• IS 9884 : 2023 ISO 5752 : 2021 Metal Valves for Use in Flanged Pipe Systems — Face-to-Face and Centre-to Face Dimensions – Amendment No. 1 November 2024
• IS 17525 : 2021 Specification for Bullet Resistant Morcha – Amendment No. 2 November 2024
• IS 17526 : 2021 Domestic Stainless Steel Vacuum Flask / Bottle — Specification – Amendment No. 2 November 2024
• IS 17790 : 2022 Insulated Flask for Domestic Use — Specification – Amendment No. 2 November 2024
The IS shall remain in force without the amendment till May 17, 2025.
