The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on December 06, 2024, issued a notification regarding the launch of the revamped Preferential Certificate of Origin (eCoO) 2.0 System.
The following has been stated: -
•The enhanced Preferential Certificate of Origin (eCoO 2.0) system will launch on 21st December 2024, offering features like multi-user access, Aadhaar-based e-signatures, an integrated dashboard, and digitized cost sheets.
•Data migration from the legacy platform will follow. Issuing agencies must designate an administrator to manage users and office details, ensuring correct payment gateway parameters.
