The Goa State Pollution Control Board (GSPCB) on November 30, 2024, issued a circular regarding One-Time Authorization for Non-Bedded Healthcare Facilities.
The following has been stated: -
•The Board has approved a one-time authorization for non-bedded healthcare facilities under the Biomedical Waste Management Rules, 2016. The administrative fee is set at Rs. 15,000, with conditions that there is no change in the facility's name, location, or waste categories.
•This decision follows representations from the Goa Private Dental Practitioners Association and was ratified in the Board's 156th meeting on September 12, 2023.
