The National Medical Commission (NMC) on December 05, 2024, issued a notification inviting applications for the Establishment of a New Medical College/Institution intending to offer undergraduate courses and increase the number of UG seats in established Medical /Institutions for the Academic year (AY)2025-2026.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It provides MARB Guidelines for assessment of medical colleges/institutions-2024.
• It also provides the guidelines and procedures to fulfill the requirements of granting permission for the establishment of a new college (UG or PG), new PG Course, and increase of admission capacity for UG and PG courses
• All stakeholders shall take note of the guidelines before applying. Further, the portal for applications will be open from December 05, 2024, till January 04, 2025.
