The Dharamshala Municipal Corporation (DMC) on December 05, 2024, notified regarding certain amendments in the Door-to-Door Garbage Collection and Disposal Bye-Laws 2019.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It amends definition clause “R-1) Shop” and “J-1) Household: Household means and constitutes one family having a separate kitchen however where one family or members of the family are having two separate kitchens running then two (02) household units will be counted for the purpose of door to door collection of garbage charges.”
• It provides the revised list of door-to-door collection of garbage charges on a monthly basis.
