The Central Depository Services (India) Limited (CDSL) on December 10, 2024, issued a notification regarding amendment measures to Curb the Misuse of Headers and Content Templates under Telecom Commercial Communication Regulations, 2018, TRAI.
The following has been stated: -
•DPs are advised to refer to CDSL/OPS/DP/POLCY/2024/695 regarding the registration of PE-TM chains on the DLT platform, as mandated by TRAI. Effective December 11, 2024, messages with undefined or mismatched chains will be rejected.
•Stakeholders must coordinate to minimize disruptions, and Telecom Service Providers (TSPs) should be contacted for corrective actions in case of failures. Contact details for designated SPOCs from various TSPs are provided for support.
