Secretarial ComplianceThe National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on October 14, 2024, issued a circular regarding guidelines in pursuance of amendment to SEBI KYC (Know Your Client) Registration Agency (KRA) Regulations, 2011.

The following has been stated: -

•In line with SEBI and NCDEX circulars, clients with invalidated KYCs (both AADHAAR and Non-AADHAAR based OVD) between November 1-30, 2024, will be restricted from trading or squaring up positions from December 23, 2024. 

•Open positions will expire on their respective contract expiry dates. Clients who become KRA-compliant will be allowed to trade on T+1. 

•Members must ensure compliance by monitoring clients' KYC status and open positions.
