The Government of Nagaland on November 14, 2024, issued the Draft Legal Metrology (Enforcement) (First Amendment) Rules, 2024, to further amend the Legal Metrology (Enforcement) Rules, 2011.
The following has been amended namely: -
• Schedule – IV which states “Office of the Controller of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection” has been substituted
• Schedule – VI which states “Government of Nagaland Office of the Controller of Legal Metrology & Consumer Protection – Security deposit to be made by licensee repairer” has been substituted.
Objections/suggestions may be sent before the expiry of 30 days.
