The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on December 11, 2024, notified regarding the drugs declared as 'Not of Standard Quality' on test analysis w.r.t supply of drugs in DG EXIC Rate Contracts.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It has issued the list of Not of Standard Quality drugs that shall not be supplied to ESIC and ESIS Institutions from January 2022 to July 2024. It includes Pantoprazole Injection, Heparin Sodium Injection, Ethamsylate 250mg Tablet, Vildagliptin Tablets, etc.
• It further states that all ESI Institutions shall increase the frequency and number of sampling of antihypertensive, anti-diabetic, and antibiotic drugs for quality assurance supplied by approved pharmaceutical firms.
