The Department of Finance, Nagaland on July 12, 2024, notified regarding the amendment in an older notification no F.NO.FIN/REV-3/GST/1/08(Pt-1)"D", dated June 30, 2017, related to the rate of the state tax.
The following has been stated namely: -
• In schedule II-6%, after serial number 121 and the entries relating thereto, new serial number "121A" and entries related to Cartoons and boxes, shall be inserted.
• In schedule II-6%, after serial number 180 and the entries relating thereto, new serial number "180A" and entries related to Milk cans made of Iron, Steel, or Aluminium shall be inserted.
• In schedule II-6%, after serial number 183 and the entries relating thereto, new serial number "183A" and entries related to Solar cookers, shall be inserted.
• In schedule III-9%, against serial number 224, after the word "equipment", the words and symbols "; other than Milk cans made of Iron, or Steel" shall be inserted.
• This shall come into force with effect from July 15, 2024.
