EHS ComplianceThe Kerala State Pollution Control Board (KSPCB) on April 02, 2024, issued a clarification on the consent fee for Bio-mining of legacy waste.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It is clarified that for 'biomining of legacy waste', the capital investment to be considered while applying for consent to operate is the project cost (excluding salary and wages) of the biomining project. 

• It further states that the application for Consent to operate can be submitted by a local body/agency appointed by the local body/operators of the biomining project along with an affidavit on capital investment in stamp paper worth Rs. 200
