The Cabinet Secretariat on December 13, 2024, issued the Government of India (Allocation of Business) (Three Hundred and Seventy-eighth Amendment) Rules, 2024 to further amend the Government of India (Allocation of Business) Rules, 1961.
The following amendments have been stated:
• In THE SECOND SCHEDULE, under the heading “MINISTRY OF WOMEN AND CHILD DEVELOPMENT (MAHILA AUR BAL VIKAS MANTRALAYA)” –
(a) Entry 13 relating to “Central Social Welfare Board (CSWB)” shall be omitted;
(b) Entry 15 relating to “Food and Nutrition Board” shall be omitted;
(c) Entry 19 relating to “Rashtriya Mahila Kosh” shall be omitted.
They shall come into force at once.
