The Government of Nagaland on November 29, 2024, issued the amendments to the Nagaland Building Bye-laws, 2012.
The following has been amended namely: -
• A new section 25 (i) shall be inserted under Chapter 1, "Section 25 (i): Industrial Buildings", it states the conditions to be followed for the construction of industrial buildings.
• In section 22, a new sub-section (ix) shall be inserted, "Section 22 (ix): Maximum height of an Industrial Building(s)".
• It states that Hostel and dormitory construction for industrial workers is permitted in industrial zones of Khima Capital City and Dimapr Commercial City, with a maximum of 25% ground coverage under mixed land use plans.
