The Government of Maharashtra on December 13, 2024, issued a resolution outlining the operational framework for incentives like stamp duty exemption, electricity tariff concessions, and other benefits for private IT parks under the new Information Technology and IT Supported Services Policy of Maharashtra State -2023.
The following has been stated namely: -
• The framework aims to encourage IT sector growth and investment in Maharashtra.
• It outlines incentives under the 2023 IT Policy, including stamp duty exemptions, electricity tariff reductions, and tax rebates for private IT parks and IT/ITES units.
• It outlines eligibility requirements, application procedures, and documentation for beneficiaries to register and avail of benefits.
