The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) on December 16, 2024, invited public comments for the adoption of TSDSI transposed 3GPP standards for Release 13 to 17 and 18 as national standards as an outcome of TSG #104.
Telecommunication Engineering Centre (TEC), Department Telecommunications (DOT) has approved a policy for the adoption of domestic/international standards into National Standards. "Standardisation Guide" - a policy document for the adoption of telecom and related ICT standards defines the process of adoption/ratification of TSDSI/international standards including institutional mechanism, process of adoption, maintenance of standards, numbering plan, stakeholder consultation etc.
Telecom Standards Advisory Committee (TSAC) a Standing apex committee under the chairmanship of DDG (Standardisation), TEC, has decided to initiate the process of adoption of TSDSI transposed 3GPP standards for Release 13 to 17 and 18 as national standards as an outcome of TSG#104 (Total 1657 documents).
As a next step in the adoption process, all stakeholders are requested to offer their comments on the above-mentioned TSDSI transposed 3GPP documents. The details in this regard are given in the Table.
All the stakeholders are requested to e-mail their comments by January 15, 2025 at [email protected] with a copy to [email protected]. It may be kept into consideration while offering the comments that only technical content or the amendments affecting the technical content of the standard shall be open for public comments, as per para 6.2.4 of the Standardisation Guide
