The Government of Karnataka on December 12, 2024, issued the Basavanabagewadi Development Authority Bill, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Section 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Amenity and Heritage Site.
•Section 3 specifies the Basavanabagewadi Development Authority.
•Section 4 specifies Term of office and conditions of services.
•Section 5 specifies Disqualification for office of membership.
It shall come into force from such date as the State Government may, by notification in the official Gazette appoint and different dates may be appointed for different provisions of the Act.
