The Government of Rajasthan on December 16, 2024, suppressed an older notification No. F.12 (l) FD/Tax/202l-l9, dated June 04, 2021, related to waiver of Late Fees for GSTR-7 returns.
The following has been stated: -
•The Rajasthan Government has waived late fees for registered persons who failed to furnish FORM GSTR-7 returns on time.
•The waiver applies to late fees exceeding ₹25 per day, with a maximum waiver of ₹1,000. Additionally, if no state tax was deducted at the source, the entire late fee is waived. This waiver is effective for returns due from June 2021 onwards.
This notification shall come into force on November 01, 2024
