EHS Compliance The Government of Kerala on December 13, 2024, issued the notification regarding the exceptions to the prohibition of cutting, uprooting, burning or otherwise destroying trees.

The following has been stated namely: -

• No tree standing in the area specified in the Schedule, shall be cut, uprooted, burnt or otherwise destroyed except on the ground that: -

o The tree constitutes a danger to life or property

o The tree is dead, diseased or wind-fallen.

• Palakkad area is stated in the schedule
