The Commission for Air Quality Management in National Capital Region and Adjoining Areas (CAQM) on December 11, 2024, issued an amendment regarding the regulated use of DG Sets.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that the emission control schedule for DG sets has been updated, Certified IC engines are now available for DG sets up to 41 kW capacity, reducing the lower capacity range for emission norms.
• It further states that the revised ranges are 41–800 kW and 19–41 kW, replacing the earlier limits of 61–800 kW and 19–61 kW.
