The Employees State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) on December 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding the declaration of the Drug "Not of Standard Quality" on Testing.
The following has been stated: -
•The drug/item has been reported as "Not of Standard Quality" and its use must be stopped immediately.
•Action should be taken per the "Testing of Drugs-Quality Control" clause in the DG-ESIC RC. The supplier must replace the supplies or recover the cost along with any testing charges.
•Records of actions taken should be maintained at the respective user units.
