The Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board (APPCB) on June 05, 2024, issued a circular regarding APPCB ECS EIA Notification 2006 and amendments thereof related to monitoring the compliance of Environmental Clearances granted by State Environment Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA), Andhra Pradesh Standard operating Procedure Instructions.
The following has been stated: -
•The Andhra Pradesh State Environmental Impact Assessment Authority (SEIAA) has mandated that project management submit half-yearly compliance reports on Environmental Clearance (EC) conditions to the relevant authority.
•The AP Pollution Control Board (APPCB) monitors compliance, as per G.O. Ms. No. 120 (November 01, 2018). Zonal and Regional Officers are instructed to verify these reports during CFE & CFO applications and adhere to prescribed timelines.
•The JCEE, ECS Division will monitor implementation and review progress regularly.
