The National Commodity & Derivatives Exchange Limited (NCDEX) on December 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Launch of Options on Spices Complex (Turmeric, Coriander and Jeera).
The Exchange, with SEBI approval, announces the availability of Options on Turmeric, Coriander, and Jeera Futures Contracts for trading starting January 2, 2025. Contracts expiring in March, April, May, and June 2025 will be launched as per the enclosed calendar, with transaction charges set at ₹30 per lakh of premium value. Detailed contract specifications and related processes are provided in Annexure I and the Product Note on the Exchange website. Members and participants must ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, including GST, Mandi Tax, and quality standards for commodities traded or delivered.
