Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Madhya Pradesh on December 16, 2024, notified the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation (Amendment) Bill, 2024 to further amend the Madhya Pradesh Municipal Corporation Act, 1956.

The following has been stated-

  • In subsection (1),-

(a) in the opening paragraph, for the words "two-thirds", the words three-quarters shall be substituted.

(ii) in clause (i) of the proviso, for the words "two years", the words "three years" shall be substituted.
