The Finance Department, Rajasthan on December 16, 2024, issued the notification regarding the amendment to the Rajasthan Pensioners' Medical Concession Scheme, 2021.
The following has been stated namely: -
• Para 4 which states “Free medical attendance and treatment” after the proviso under sub-para (1) and before the Note, the following is inserted namely: -
"Provided further that Vitamins, Minerals and Anti-oxidant shall be made available upto the limit of Rs 3000/- per annum for the pensioners who have attained the age of 75 years or above in the case of following treatments/diseases:
(i) Cancer, (ii) Chronic Liver Disease, (iii) Kidney Failure, (iv) Major Organ Transplant (Le. Kidney, Lungs, Liver and Bone Marrow Transplant) and (v) Strokes resulting in permanents symptom/Parkinsons disease
The payment of Vitamins, Minerals and Anti-oxidant as prescribed by authorized medical attendant shall be made to pharma stores/ e-pharma stores on RGHS rates."
This shall come into force on December 16, 2024.
