Secretarial ComplianceThe National Stock Exchange, (NSE) on December 20, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Adoption of additional eligibility criteria for in principle approval for listing on NSE EMERGE.

NSE EMERGE has adopted additional eligibility criteria for SMEs seeking in-principle approval for listing, following amendments approved by SEBI at its 208th Board Meeting on December 18, 2024. These changes align with updates to the SEBI (ICDR) Regulations, 2018, and SEBI (LODR) Regulations, 2015, as detailed in SEBI's press release (PR No. 36/2024).

The additional norms are applicable to all DRHPs filed on or after December 19, 2024, while existing NSE quality check criteria remain unchanged. These new measures aim to enhance the SME framework and corporate governance standards for SMEs seeking to list on NSE EMERGE.
