The Labour Department, Govt. of Kerala on December 16, 2024, notified regarding the revision in the minimum wages payable to the employees employed in the Paper Production Industry Sector.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It provides a list stating the basic wage rate per month for the employees employed in the paper production industry categorized into Group A and Group B.
• It states that in addition to the basic wages, the employees shall be eligible for Variable Dearness Allowance calculated based on the latest available Consumer Price Index Numbers for each month.
