Industry Specific ComplianceThe Government of Haryana on December 19, 2024, issued a notification regarding Minimum Support Price for purchase of all the MSP.

The Haryana Government has decided to procure additional crops—Ragi, Soybean, Nigerseed, Safflower, Barley, Maize, Jowar, Jute, Copra, and Summer Moong—at Minimum Support Price (MSP) announced by the Government of India. This decision, alongside existing MSP procurement for crops like Paddy, Bajra, Wheat, and Cotton, ensures stable and remunerative prices for farmers.

Procurement will be conducted through agencies like FCI, NAFED, and CCI, with specific guidelines for oilseeds and pulses under the Price Support Scheme. Registered farmers on the "Meri Fasal Mera Bayora" portal are eligible for this procurement, enhancing income security and reducing the impact of price volatility. Certain crops, such as Ragi and Nigerseed, are not grown in Haryana, and market prices of others like Barley and Maize often exceed MSP.
