The Government of Himachal Pradesh on December 19, 2024, notified Himachal Pradesh Passengers and Goods Taxation (Amendment) Bill, 2024 further to amend the Himachal Pradesh Passengers and Goods Taxation Act, 1955.
The following has been stated: -
•In section 4-A of the Himachal Pradesh Passengers and Goods Taxation Act, 1955, in sub-section (1), for the words “Assistant Excise and Taxation Commissioner of Excise and Taxation Officer incharge of the district”, the words, letters, and signs “Assistant Commissioner of State Taxes and Excise (GST/Allied Taxes) of the concerned jurisdiction” shall be substituted.
