The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission (MPERC) on December 11, 2024, issued draft MPERC (Procedure, Terms and Conditions for Grant of Transmission License and other matter of Transmission Licensee (Including Deemed Licensee) Regulations, 2024 (Revision-I) {Rg-11(I) of 2024}.
The following has been stated: -
•The MPERC invites suggestions, objections, and comments on the draft regulations regarding transmission licenses. The deadline for submissions is January 10, 2025, with submissions accepted via email, fax, or post. A public hearing will be held on January 14, 2025, through video conferencing.
•Copies of the proposed regulations can be obtained for a fee until January 10, 2025.
