The Ministry of Labour & Employment (MoL&E) on December 23, 2024, issued a notification regarding All-India Consumer Price Index Numbers for Agricultural and Rural Labourers – November 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•In November 2024, the All-India Consumer Price Index for Agricultural Labourers (CPI-AL) and Rural Labourers (CPI-RL) increased by 5 points, reaching 1320 and 1331, respectively. Year-on-year inflation for CPI-AL and CPI-RL was 5.35% and 5.47%, lower than the 7.37% and 7.13% recorded in November 2023.
•Compared to October 2024, inflation rates decreased from 5.96% for CPI-AL and 6.00% for CPI-RL.
