The Government of Madhya Pradesh on December 20, 2024, issued Draft Madhya Pradesh Panchayat (Additional Stamp Duty Fund Grant-in-Aid) Rules, 2024.
The following has been stated: -
•Rule 2 lays down various definitions of the terms like Panchayat and State.
•Rule 3 specifies the Distribution of the amount relating to additional stamp duty.
•Rule 4 specifies if any question arises regarding the interpretation of any provision of these rules, it shall be referred to the State Government and the decision of the State Government thereon shall be final.
Any objection or suggestion may be submitted within 30 days from December 20, 2024.
