The Petroleum and Explosives Safety Organisation (PESO) on September 12, 2024, issued a circular regarding the Online Module for the fabrication of Valve under Gas Cylinder Rules, 2016.
The following has been stated: -
•PESO launched an Online Module for the approval of Valve Design Drawings, Amendment, and Renewal under the Gas Cylinders Rules, 2016, effective from September 03, 2024.
•New valve manufacturers must submit applications online for approval, as offline/manual applications will no longer be accepted.
•The operational guidelines for paperless applications is attached.
