Industry Specific Compliance The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) on December 23, 2024, notified Telecom Consumers Protection (Twelfth Amendment) Regulations, 2024 further to amend the Telecom Consumers Protection Regulations, 2012.

The following has been stated: -

•In regulation 2 in clause (ca), for the words “ninety days”, the words “three hundred and sixty-five days” shall be substituted.

•Regulation 5 shall be deleted.

They shall come into force after thirty days from December 23, 2024.
