Finance & Taxation Compliance The Income Tax Department on December 23, 2024, issued a notification regarding the last date to file an Income Tax Return (ITR) for Assessment Year 2024-25.

The following has been stated: -

•If the original ITR for AY 2024-25 has been filed before the due date and if there is any omission or wrong statement in the original ITR, then the revised, ITR may be filed by December 31, 2024, without late fees.
