The Government of Madhya Pradesh on December 16, 2024, issued the Madhya Pradesh University Law Amendment Bill, 2024, to further amend the B.Sc. R.S. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences Act, 2015, The Madhya Pradesh Bhoj (Free) University Act, 1661, the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Hindi University Act, 2011, the Mahatma Gandhi Chitrakoot Gramodaya University Act, 1661, and the Maharishi Panini Sanskrit and Vedic University Act, 2006.
The following has been stated namely: -
• It states that in the Hindi version, the word "Kullpati", wherever it occurs, shall be substituted with the words "Kullguru".
• It states that in the Hindi version, the words "Pro-Vice-Chancellor" and “Prati Kullpati”, wherever they occur, shall be substituted with the word “Prati Kullguru”.
• It further states that in the English version, the word "Kullpati" wherever it occurs, shall be substituted with the word "Vice-Chancellor".
