The National E-Governance Services Limited (NeSL) on December 21, 2024, issued e-BG API - Time-line on Validation for Mandatory Fields.
This refers to our earlier Communique (#173 dated November 28, 2024) wherein the below fields were to be enforced as mandatory w.e.f. December 01, 2024. However, we were informed by the bank(s) that they were not yet fully ready with the below mentioned fields to be shared with NeSL. Hence, NeSL has decided to extend the time-line for enforcing the validation up to December 31, 2024.
• Total Outstanding Amount
• Currency of Total Outstanding Amount
• Expiry Date
• Claim Expiry Date
• Email ID (of applicant/beneficiary/bank under Participating section)
Please note it is vital to share these fields in all the e-BG events in the API which will assist the stakeholders to know the latest position of the e-BG and take appropriate subsequent action.
We hereby request bank(s) to take note of the same and comply with the requirements and be ready to submit the above said fields for all the events in the e-BG life cycle to avoid rejection of the API request.
