Industry Specific Compliance The Government of Manipur on December 13, 2024, issued a notification regarding the adoption of Telecommunications (Right of Way) Rules, 2024 in the state.

The following has been stated: -

•The Governor of Manipur has superseded the 2019 and 2022 policies related to mobile towers, OFC, and telecom infrastructure. The Telecommunications (Right of Way) Rules, 2024, notified by the Government of India, will be adopted in Manipur.

•These rules will come into effect from January 01, 2025.
