The Petroleum and Explosive Safety Organization, (PESO) on July 08, 2024, issued a notification regarding the Approval of CNG/CBG gas compressors proposed to be installed in the premises covered under license FORM E&F and G of the Gas Cylinders Rules, 2016.
The requirement for approval of CNG/CBG compressor packages installed in premises under licenses FORM E&F and G has been extended by the Chief Controller of Explosives, Nagpur, until 31/01/2025, with the following conditions:
•All Ex electrical components in the CNG/CBG compressor must be approved by the Chief Controller of Explosives, with valid approvals.
•An undertaking confirming that all electrical components comply with the approved type must be submitted before license issuance/amendment and during inspections.
