The Madhya Pradesh Electricity Regulatory Commission, (MPERC), on December 12, 2024, issued Draft MPERC (Procedure, Terms and conditions for Grant of Distribution Licence and Other matters of Distribution Licensee (including deemed licensee) Regulations, 2024 (Revision-I) (RG-12(I) of 2024).
The following has been stated-
•These Regulations shall be applicable to the Distribution Licensees (including deemed licensees) operating in Madhya Pradesh.
•These Regulations shall extend to the whole of the State of Madhya Pradesh.
•These Regulations shall come into force on the date of their publication in the official Gazette of Madhya Pradesh.
•The MPERC invites suggestions, objections, and comments on the draft Regulation by January 10, 2025, which can be submitted via mail.
