Commercial Compliance The Directorate General of Foreign Trade (DGFT) on December 24, 2024, notified regarding the import of Menthol under Advance Authorization/DFIA.

The following has been stated namely: -

• It states that SION/Adhoc norms in respect of Menthol, now covered under ITC(HS) codes 29061110 and 29061190, have been re-instated with immediate effect.

• It further states that the RAs and NCs shall now consider the cases for issuance and fixation of Advance Authorization/DFIA and Adhoc norms as per policy and procedure.
